LASER TATTOO REMOVAL

Our objective in a laser tattoo removal session is to kickstart the immune system to do what it already does. The immune system recognizes tattoo ink as foreign matter. So we match the wavelength of laser light that will be absorbed by the pigment we are trying to treat. Then the tattoo pigment absorbs the energy and breaks it apart into manageable pieces for the immune system to flush out.

Full tattoo removal is a much longer process than fading. Depending on the tattoo, a full removal can take more than 12 sessions and requires a 1-2 year time commitment. Trust the process, it’s worth it in the end.
